2. Personal data we collect

When you submit an enquiry on this website or contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we may collect:

• Identity and contact details (name, work email, phone number, company / organisation)
• Enquiry content (area of interest and message)
• Technical data needed to operate the site and prevent abuse (for example IP address logged for rate-limiting of the contact form)

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data through this website. Please do not include unnecessary personal data in free-text messages.

3. Purposes of use

We use personal data to:

• Respond to your enquiry — primary purpose of the contact form
• Customer relationship management (CRM) — we may store your enquiry details in our CRM so our sales and delivery teams can follow up coherently
• Marketing communications — only if you opt in on the form or otherwise give consent; you may withdraw at any time
• Operate, secure and improve this website (including abuse prevention)
• Comply with legal or regulatory obligations

4. Consent

By submitting the contact form you consent to our collecting and using your personal data to respond to your enquiry and, if selected, for CRM follow-up and marketing as described above. You may withdraw consent by emailing dpo@akera.com.sg. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed lawfully, and we may still need to retain limited records where required by law or for dispute handling.

5. Disclosure

We may share personal data with:

• Our authorised employees and contractors who need it to handle your enquiry
• Service providers who host email, CRM or website infrastructure on our behalf, under confidentiality and data protection obligations
• Authorities where required by Singapore law

We do not sell personal data.

6. Transfers outside Singapore

We do not transfer personal data collected through this website outside Singapore. If that changes, we will update this Notice and put in place safeguards required under the PDPA.

7. Retention

Enquiry and CRM records are retained only as long as needed for the purposes above — typically for the duration of an active sales or customer relationship and a reasonable period afterwards for follow-up and audit — unless a longer period is required by law.

8. Protection

We apply reasonable security arrangements to protect personal data against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification or disposal, consistent with our role as a cybersecurity services provider.

9. Access, correction and other rights

You may request access to or correction of your personal data, or withdraw consent for marketing, by contacting dpo@akera.com.sg. We will respond in accordance with the PDPA.
